Caring

We recently took a trip to visit my parents and celebrate my youngest brother’s 17th (!) birthday.

Trips up north have become more and more challenging as our family has grown, both in size and “abtitude” (as Elizabeth would say).

I don’t know if it was a full moon or what, but we were not the only ones facing significant challenges during this trip.

The challenges of others, especially these ones, are not mine to share. What is mine to share is my gratitude in seeing how we all worked to make the burdens of others lighter.

The challenges we face aren’t going anywhere, but dealing with each other with gentleness and caring is something we can all do.
