Setting Goals and Making Changes

*This post appeared first on my Steemit site*

It is that time of the year when I, like many others, consider what our goals for the New Year are going to be.

This year has definitely been a year of very purposeful thinking about setting goals. I attended BossedUp Bootcamp and started thinking about my own entrepreneurial goals. I set some academic goals and have a plan to meet with my academic advisor to talk through those goals and make a plan for my capstone. I’ll be using the 2018 Life Tracker to turn my goals into some actionable steps.

With all this thinking about goal setting, branding, and where I’ve already been this year I’m very excited to announce the launch of a personal website in 2018! On my website, you’ll have a central place to find all the writing I’ve been up to (y’all know it hasn’t been here), enjoy videos I’ll be creating on topics related to time management, workers rights, parenting, and more, and easily find ways to collaborate with me on projects.

What are some goals you’re excited about for 2018?

  1. I look forward to seeing you meet your goals and get your website going!

I haven’t really set any 2018 goals – I think that I’d continue one that I work on every day: try to not blame myself for things that I have no control over.
