Six Sentence Sunday – Friend or Foe?

**Edit** Trigger Warning: This Six Sentence Sunday could potentially be very hard for those of you who are survivors of sexual violence or are sensitive to these issues.  Believe me, it was also very hard to write. **

I don’t usually leave Six Sentence Sunday so late! But, dear readers, it’s been an insane day.  I’ve been visiting my parents this weekend and just returned two hours ago. I needed to unwind before sharing the next installment of Six Sentence Sunday.

If you missed last week, check it out here. Also, if you want the whole story (and don’t want to read it in six sentence installments) you can get the whole thing here and here.

Before she could react Adam had roughly shoved her leggings down and knocked her to the floor. She was aware of the cold concrete floor, the smell of sweat left over from decades of sports player, and the cheers of the team as Adam forced himself into her. In a sudden burst of clarity she realized what was happening and started to scream. As her scream intensified she could hear Amy storming into the locker room shouting, “What the hell is going on in here!?”

The guys stopped cheering and quickly dispersed. Rebecca was curled up on the concrete floor, sobbing.

Stay tuned next week for the next installment in Rebecca’s story.  Who knows what will happen next?

  1. Ugh Rachel. Warn me next time. Disturbing six. I don’t envy you the writing of it, but you got my skin crawling.
